When to request one
A consultation may help when a concern is difficult to describe in a form, requires language support or benefits from a guided review of next steps.
Before joining
- Use a private space and trusted device
- Keep the request number and tracking key private
- Prepare a short chronology and only necessary documents
- Do not record or share the conversation unless authorised and consented
What it is not
A consultation is not an emergency line, court hearing, police interview or guaranteed professional legal consultation.
